Over the summer, I was contacted by the marketing team at the Cobb Galleria Centre about taking photos of a large portion of their catering menu. This was a major undertaking because the Cobb Galleria hosts a staggering number of people through the course of the events and conferences that take place there.
For this project in September 2018, the marketing and kitchen teams at the Cobb Galleria were great partners. Thanks to their catering expertise, they were able to set up an excellent studio-like environment that went a long way in helping me create these professional, adaptable images.
One of our main goals was to create photos that would easily fit into their marketing materials, which is why we used simple black and white backgrounds. In my opinion, these simple settings really allow the beautiful food to speak for itself.
For this project, I took thousands of photos over the course of the two-day shoot. Below, I’ve included a few of my favorites.
