For the AJC’s recent review of Ammazza, I was able to take photos of some excellent pizza and their gorgeous new interior.
For those who don’t know, the restaurant was struck by two cars in completely separate, unrelated incidents about a week apart. One of the cars broke a water main, and the gushing water essentially carved a sinkhole beneath the building, making the restoration an incredibly involved process. Ammazza makes some of the best pizza in Atlanta, so it was a lot of fun to shoot there.
